Blue Bell Private Wealth Management p/b Cannondale team member Jared Fenstermacher is embarking on a 3,000 mile ride from Astoria, Ore., to Ocean City, NJ. He hopes to raise $10,000 for For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides adult cancer patients, their caregivers and loved ones a break from cancer. FPS provides respite vacations to cancer patients and their families.
Jared’s story was recently featured in the Reading Eagle Newspaper and on WEEU radio.
Team leader, Thomas Nagy believes, “The sport of cycling gives opportunities for the cyclists to do great things as a team and as individuals. Ever since the team started three years ago, community outreach has been a big part of the team’s non-racing goals and we are super excited about our teammate’s upcoming adventure.” Previously, the team has collected bikes for the Reading Bike Hub and also raffled off children bikes at the For Pete’s Sake, Walk! with all proceeds going to the For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation.
We are a proud sponsor of the cycling team and FPS. We wish Jared the best of luck on his ride and can’t wait to celebrate with him when he returns to Ocean City.
